BMW M3 GT2 transformed into an Art Car by Jeff Koons
Drawing on a tradition that started 30 years ago, BMW unveiled its seventeenth Art Car, designed by renowned international artist Jeff Koons. The premier of this new Art Car took place on the 1st of June, at the Centre Pompidou, one of the world?s most prestigious cultural institutions for modern and contemporary art, where Koons unveiled and signed his car in front of 300 international VIP guests. Interestingly enough, it was also the same place where Roy Lichtenstein unveiled and signed his Art Car, a BMW 320i touring car, back in 1977.
