Tata’s global sales grow by 50%
During the month of May 2010, Tata Motors Group global sales have achieved a growth of 50% over May 2009.
While cumulative sales figure in April 2010 – May 2010 have been 157,548 units, 52% higher than the corresponding period in 2009-10.
Biggest jump in sales figures was witnessed by Jaguar Land Rover, which managed to sell 19,053 vehicles globally in the month of May, a growth of 72%, compared to same month last year. Out of these, 5,120 units were of Jaguar brand of vehicles (growth of 34%) and Land Rover sales stood at 13,933, witnessing a whopping jump of 93%!
