Hyundai all set to launch i20 with 1.5litre 100bhp engine
Our sources have told us that Hyundai is all set to launch a new BSIV compliant 1.5litre, 100BHP 4 cylinder engine in the i20.
We believe that the engine will go into the cars with immediate effect as the BSIV has already been rolled out in the major 13 cities across India from April 1, 2010 onwards.
The i20 1.2 and 1.4litre variants has been a successful for Hyundai. It is still unknown whether the 1.2litre will be phased out or the 1.4litre will be upgraded to make space for this new car.
